Annette Duncan, 62, of Goldsboro, North Carolina died unexpectedly on January 29th, 2021. Although she had battled bravely against numerous health issues including breast cancer over the years, her loss was completely unexpected, the family is shocked, and deeply saddened.
Annette was born on May 10th, 1958 to J.C. & Annie Graham in Kershaw, South Carolina. Annette attended Conway High School, she was passionate about her education. After graduating high school, she attended Coastal Carolina for nursing, then moved on to East Coast Bible College after having her first child, Joseph Duncan. She received a degree in Christian Education in 1988. She and her husband Buddy Duncan lived in Conway, South Carolina after their marriage on August 19th, 1978. They have been married 42 years.
Anyone who knew Annette knew that she was: kind, loving, caring, warm, brilliant, fun-loving, and wonderful. She had an immense passion for her family and her Native American Heritage and was always happy to take a trip to Cherokee, North Carolina. Annette’s family and friends will miss her more than words can express.
Annette’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband Buddy Duncan, Joseph Duncan her only son and his wife, her grandchildren Joseph B. Duncan II, Andrew Duncan, her sisters Cyndy Graham and Diana G. Parker. She is now talking with Jesus and has no more pain or sorrow. If she were here she would tell you to get your heart right today for you are not promised tomorrow. There will be no formal services at this time.
