Wayne County has now recorded over 8,000 cases of the coronavirus.

According to the Friday update from Wayne County Government, there has been a total of 8,063 total positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the county.

There are currently 674 estimated active cases present in Wayne County.

The county has recorded 174 coronavirus-related deaths since the pandemic began.
