As of Friday, the Wayne County Health Department has received notification of 6,325 total positive cases of COVID-19. 334 of these cases have been attributed to congregate living facilities and 5,519 are cases from outside any type of congregate facility. 5,602 of the 6,325 individuals who tested positive are now considered recovered, leaving an estimated total of 592 cases that are currently active in Wayne County.

The Health Department received notice of 7 additional deaths this week. The total number of deaths in Wayne County is currently 131.
