The Make A Difference Food Pantry in Mount Olive held its pie baking contest Saturday morning. Due to social distancing measure, the contestants baked their pies at home and then dropped them off at the pantry. There were a total of 16 pies entered in the contest. The five judges were brought in one or two at a time to sample the pies. First place went to Sara Southerland for her pecan pie. Second place went to Braylon Gonzalez for her snickers cheesecake. Third place went to Barbara Templar for her caramel apple pie.
