Mother Gertie Mae Brown, 79, a resident of Greenville Forest Nursing died Saturday.
She was born May 18, 1941, in Wayne County to Campfield Jack and Ella Mae Jackson Bynum.
Her life’s devotion, service to God and mankind will be celebrated Saturday at 11 AM at Love Temple. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Precious memories are held dear by her son, Rev. Christopher Brown, Jr., Goldsboro; her daughters, Stephanie Brown, of the home, Kimberly Brown Isler, Goldsboro and Jameta Brown Edwards, Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to, at the church.
