Adam Brian Kornegay, 49, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his home. He was born in Wayne County on October 24, 1971.

Adam had worked for Grifols in Clayton and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved being outdoors and working in his yard.

At Adam’s request, no formal services will be held.

Adam is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patty Kornegay; mother, Gail Garcia; grandmother, Virginia Miller; step-daughter, Amanda Staggs; sisters, Wendy Greenberg, Sherrie Stanley, Mary Garcia, and Gloria Garcia; and uncle, Andy Miller.
Adam was preceded in death by his father, John Kornegay.
