(GDN)–They are the unsung heroes that take care of us in times of need. This Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM, State Farm Insurance, The Wayne County Cooperative Extension, and Curtis Media Group have partnered to celebrate the heroes that surround us everyday. We want to show our deep appreciation for all first responders and their families at a “First Responder Appreciation Day.”

Come out to the Maxwell Center in the Farmer’s Market parking lot and enjoy Door Prizes and a Silent Auction from Brian Allen, Ronald Tyndall, and Wayne Wallace of State Farm Insurance, music and radio interaction from 98.3 FM WGBR, 92.7 JAMZ, 105.7 WFMC and 97.7 Katie County, Free Food for all First Responders from McGrady’s Grill and Emergency vehicles will be on display and a bouncy house for the kids.

The Farm Credit Farmer’s Market will also be open for business.
