Ms. Ernestine Dancy Thompson, 68, passed on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2:30pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Washington Cemetery, Ludwell Drive, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 1:30pm to 2:20pm at the funeral home. Social distancing and facial covering protocols are in place.

She was born on November 14, 1951 in Wayne County, NC to George Arthur Dancy and Pearl Irene McClarin Dancy. She is survived by three children: Valorie DuPuy, Darin (Eugenia) Dancy and Christina Dancy (Martez); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and and a host of other family and friends.
