A new member will join the Wayne County Board of Commissioners.

Tuesday, the current commissioners selected Adrian Worrell to fill the vacant District 3 Commissioner seat.

The vote to appoint Worrell to the vacancy was 3 – 1.

The District 3 vacancy was created when Commissioner John M. Bell passed away suddenly after he had served on the county board for nearly 20 years.
